Tinned cooper wires a in silver colour. Small amount of tin making cables much easier to solder too.
General rule 4mm solar cable is enough up to 4kw of solar system (depending on overall length). 6mm solar cable is good option above 4kw. Many professional installers chooses 6mm in all cases due to the fact that it reduces voltage drop and its more sturdier to work with, but cost is not significantly higher.
